Josephine was born October 2, 1926 to Ralph and Marguerite (Mould) Saunders and was the youngest of three children. She attended Gresham High School prior to meeting and marrying her husband Darrell Clinton Howard, Sr. Darrell preceded her in death in 1991.
Josephine is survived by her seven children, Marguerite Foss, Mary Jo Witty, Marilyn Myers (Lee), Darrell Howard, Jr. (Denise), David Howard, Dwayne Howard (Penni) and Marlene Stanley (Larry). She had 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren whom brought great joy to her life.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 17th at 2 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery. Please check in at the Office at Gate 1 for direction to the staging area. A reception will follow at the home of Larry and Marlene Stanley in Boring, Oregon.
