Juanita B. Howell

Juanita was born March 1, 1921 to Isaac and Matilda Gravett in Lime Creek, Minnesota. She attended Corning High School in Corning, Iowa. On February 28, 1941, she married Harold H. Howell. Juanita enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-granchildren and great-great grandchild. She also was a member of the First Congregational Church in Red Oak, Iowa and Hillside Christian Fellowship in Clackamas, Oregon. She loved reading, crocheting, quilting and gardening.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents Isaac and Tillie; husband, Harold; three brothers, Harold, Glen and Homer; and one sister, Doris.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Page of Red Oak, Iowa; sisters, Nola Comstock of Omaha, NE and Irene Williams of Peoria, AZ; six grandchildren, 17 great-granchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Services were held Monday, March 16, 2009 at Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes with a committal service to follow at Mt. View Corbett Pioneer Cemetery.
