

Julia Geraldine Foster, was born in Orofino, Idaho to Maynard and Gisella Brown, on July 12, 1920. The family moved to Clarkston, Washington where Julia attended school and graduated from Clarkston High School in 1938.
Julia met Robert Lewis Foster on a blind date and they were married a couple of years later in 1941. Julia and Robert began their family and then moved to Portland, Oregon, where she became a member of Central Christian Church. She worked hard at the church and at home raising her children. Julia also worked for the Portland Public School District at Marshall High School as the Head Cook in the cafeteria. She loved cooking, gardening, fishing and hiking with her family. She believed in living peaceably and doing good to all. She was a member of The International Association of Rebekah Assemblies and also a Girl Scout Leader.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Connie McManus, brother, Marcus Brown and grandson, Joseph Miller. She is survived by daughters, Beverly (Mel) Sweet of Portland, Oregon, Rose Henschel of Harmony, North Carolina and Roberta Rylander of Gresham, Oregon, Grandsons, John Miller, Timothy (Michelle) Teyema, Tracey (Tina) Teyema and granddaughter, Michelle Miller. Tina (Mark) Pariseau, Great Grandchildren, Colson Miller, Julia Miller, Lars Lettman, Andrew Teyema, Melissa Teyema, Michael Pariseau, Joey Pariseau, Daniel Pariseau and Trinity Teyema.
