

She was born on July 18, 1936, in Portland, Oregon, to Matt and Josephine Pauletich. She was raised in Portland and attended Franklin High School, later earning her GED.
Julie was married to her husband, Richard, for 71 years until his passing in 2024. She worked for Wells Fargo Bank before retiring and also volunteered at the Oregon Convention Center and Keller Auditorium.
Julie enjoyed collecting antique glass, with Caprice crystal being a particular favorite, and a monthly game of bunco. She was a social person who enjoyed spending time with her many friends and was known as a hard worker. She will be remembered not just for being a good friend and neighbor, but for the love and warmth she brought to everyone she met.
Julie is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Brandt and her husband, Pete; her grandchildren, Alicia Estabrook, Amy Bearden and her husband, Tyler, and Jason Brandt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and her sons, Douglas and Michael.
A viewing will be held on October 12, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m.
