

Born in Prosser, WA. July 6, 1922 to Vessie Knight Keeney and Wayne Austin Keeney.
Went to live eternally in Heaven on April 3, 2012.
June’s family moved to Vancouver, WA when June was in the 4th grade, and she graduated from Vancouver High School in 1939 at the age of 16.
In May of 1939, June met the love of her life, Mert Sullivan, and they were married October 11, 1941. They lived in Vancouver, WA until 1950 at which time they moved to Orient, OR. They bought their first home in Boring, OR in 1951. In 1953 June and Mert and their two children Nancy and Mike moved to California.
June worked several jobs during her years in California, and retired from the State of California in1979, where she worked as an Employment Counselor. June and Mert moved back to Oregon in 1980 and built a movie theater in Tualatin, OR. In 1985 Mert passed away on the way home from a dream vacation in Puerto Vallarta.
One of the highlights of her years, after Mert’s death, was a trip to Brazil with her grandson Toby to visit her granddaughter Dori, who was there as an exchange student. June has five grandchildren, Jon Timmons, Bryan Sullivan, Terry Timmons, Dori Lopuszynski, and Toby Sullivan, all of whom were her pride and joy, and who blessed her with twelve great-grandchildren. Besides her family, June kept very busy doing volunteer work and had an active social life with many friends from the Elks, until her health no longer allowed her to get out like she would have liked.
June is predeceased by her husband Arlo Merton Sullivan (Mert) and her son Michael Merton Sullivan. June is survived by her brother Wayne “Bud” Keeney, sister Betty Lou Irwin, her daughter Nancy Lee Patton (Dave), daughter n’law Mary Sullivan, her five grandchildren Jon, Bryan, Terry, Dori, Toby, and her twelve great grandchildren Matthew Timmons, Karina Lopuszynski, Lauren Timmons, Sadie Sullivan, Jack Sullivan, Carter Sullivan, Max Lopuszynski, Elliot Sullivan, Colin Timmons, Caitlyn Timmons, Kandon and Kelton Sullivan.
