Kathy and dated winter @ summer 1959 - Kathy and had I had a fun loving relationship - I just learned of her passing - it just broke my heart - I transfered to a different school - I loved Kathy but we went our ways - I think I thought of here for 60 years - maybe we will see each in heaven ,- that would be cool - love you - john

During the reception at the Stock Pot for Kathy I recalled another favorite memory. Bob, Kathy, Don and I were motor boating down the Willamette River in Portland on a beautiful sunny day. Kathy looking great in a bathing suit was sunning herself on the bow (is this the right term) of the boat. The boat was rocked by the wake of another boat tipping Kathy into the not-so-clean waters of the Willamette. Bob turned the boat around and we fished Kathy out of the river. Kathy was upset about losing her sunglasses to the waters but not her impromptu dunking. Mary Feller

I had the joy of working with Kathy for 5 years at Templeton Elementary.  Her dedication to children changed lives and was exemplary to others.  The fun she brought to coworkers will never be forgotten.  Thoughts of her will always make me smile.

The thought of Kathy leaves us with warm hearts and a smile. She was very dear to us.

Oh Bob, this could be so sad for you, Bob & John, but as we celebrate Kathy's life today, we are reminded of the good times when you two, Mary and I were so young and happy in our lives.  Kathy was always an inspiration to us with her adventuresome love of the outdoors, especially the ocean. Kathy will always be fondly remember in our thoughts.  Don Feller

I didn't realize that Kathy's love of the outdoors was a Walker family tradition. My favorite memory of Kathy was when Bob,Kathy,Don and I rode to the beach in their jeep. We went crabbing on the spit that later became part of Salishan subdivision. After successfully crabbing Bob filled a large can with sea water, added pepper and boiled the crabs. When they were ready, Bob said we need to eat the illegal ones first (too small to be legal). As we feasted on crab we washed them down with beer. Goodbye, Kathy dear. Mary Feller

We were so very sorry to hear about Kathy's passing and are sending our love and heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.
