

In 1955, Kathleen's family relocated from Arkansas to Portland, Oregon.
She met her first husband, Henry Washington, in 1956, with whom she had four children: Annette Anderson, Maria Washington, Sonja Phillips, and their late son, Stevie Washington.
Her adopted goddaughter is Ramona Eshmon-LaGrone.
Later, she married David Robinson, embracing two stepchildren, Jennell Lee Hicks and David Lee Robinson.
Driven by devotion to her family, Kathleen relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2007.
Her greatest joy was being 'Nana' to her loved ones. Kathleen actively participated in her children's, grandchildren's, and great-grandchildren's activities, including dance recitals, gymnastics, baseball games, basketball, school graduations, and volleyball.
She enjoyed playing cards and dominoes and attended church services and Bible study.
Renowned for her impeccable style, love of travel, generosity, and love, Kathleen embodied strength, resilience, and determination.
Her hobbies included crafting handmade cane covers, knitting, dancing, and collecting coins.
As a devoted mother, and pillar of her community, Kathleen's enduring legacy continues to uplift and empower all who knew her.
As the esteemed Eastern Star Queen in Portland, Oregon, and a retired Nabisco employee, Kathleen's impact extended far beyond her family.
In her final days, Kathleen reminded us to love fiercely and forgive.
She sought to bring peace, happiness, and joy to her family and friends.
With a heart full of love, Kathleen greeted everyone with a beautiful smile, sharing God's words and setting an exemplary standard.
Though her medical condition claimed her too soon, her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, including integrity.
Within each of us remains a piece of her indomitable spirit, reminding us to face life's challenges with courage and grace.
One of her favorite phrases was "Study the Lord's words for yourself, 2nd Timothy 2:15, " a guiding principle that continues to inspire her loved ones.
Remember the body of Christ family their season will begin and end: 'The seeds you plant in your seasons of life are the harvest you shall inherit."
Preceding her in death are her parents: Huntley and Maggie Williams; son: Stevie Washington; eight siblings: Gladys Russell, Sally Purifoy, Anna Loving, Hugh Williams, Nora Blume, Clyde Williams, Maxine Williams, and Elua Williams.
Her life's journey profoundly impacted countless lives.
Kathleen leaves behind her children: Annette Anderson, Maria Washington, and Sonja Phillips (Edward); stepchildren: Jennell Hicks and David Lee Robinson; sister: Claudine Hernandez; goddaughter: Ramona Eshmon-LaGrone (Reginald); 16 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and spiritual family and friends.
