

With broken hearts and immense gratitude for the times we shared, we celebrate the life of Keanen Edward Darden, who passed away on August 15, 2026 at the age of 26.
Though his life was tragically cut short, Keanen's impact on the lives he touched was immeasurable. He lived with a spirit that was vibrant, compassionate, and full of possibility. Whether through his smile, sense of humor, kindness, or unwavering support of others, Keanen had a remarkable way of bringing sunshine into every room and making people feel seen and valued.
Born on July 17, 2000 in Portland, Keanen grew up surrounded by family and friends who cherished him deeply. He attended Alameda Elementary, Beaumont Middle School, and Central Catholic where he participated in youth soccer, little league baseball, intramural basketball and football. Keanen then went on to graduate at Oregon State University with a degree in Business Administration. Keanen was known for his curiosity, determination, and empathy for all living things. He loved sports, music, geography, games, and some of his happiest moments were spent in nature.
To know Keanen was to experience genuine friendship, laughter, and love. He had a gift for seeing the best in others and a heart that welcomed everyone. His kindness was limitless, and his ability to inspire those around them will remain one of his greatest legacies.
Keanen's parents, Shane and Stacey, his sister Telaney, his girlfriend Macy and many beloved relatives, friends, classmates, teammates, and neighbors will take comfort in the countless memories, stories, and moments that continue to live on in our hearts.
Keanen's spirit will continue to guide us, reminding us to be kind, courageous, and appreciative of each day.
