

Kevin G. Bailey, beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 59, in Vancouver, Washington. Kevin was born on October 22, 1965, in the Presidio of San Francisco, California, to Vonda Louise Miller and William Roy Bailey. He was raised in a military family, as his father served in the Coast Guard which led to moves across California, Alaska, and Kentucky throughout his childhood.
Kevin’s passion for service and leadership was evident from an early age. He proudly attended the Police Academy, where he excelled and earned the position of squad leader. His dedication to his career led him to a long and fulfilling tenure as a Correctional Officer with the State of California, retiring after 19 years of committed service.
Known for his infectious sense of humor, Kevin had a unique ability to make anyone and everyone laugh. His quick wit and warmth drew people to him, and he was loved for his extreme kindness, loyalty, and the unwavering care he showed for his family.
Outside of work, Kevin had a variety of hobbies that brought him joy. He loved shooting guns, watching sports, and spending time enjoying movies.
Kevin is survived by: Luke Bailey, Jack Bailey, Keith Bailey, Timothy Bailey, Ruthie Miners, and Rhonda Stein. His legacy of love, humor, and devotion will be carried on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Rest in peace, Kevin. You will be deeply missed.
