I have so many fun, funny and special memories of my years I was around Kurt. He was one of the most loyal guys to his family and friends, while also being one of the most competitive people I have been associated with. Boy did he love to compete! With all the things he dealt with, he always had the strength to be there for his family and friends. As much as he loved playing golf, his family was number one in his heart and loved talking about them. I could visualize him coaching his grandsons like his daughter! That makes me laugh. Kurt, you were one Special Person. I will never forget the fun we had during our time we got to share.

Love you always!

During marginal weather conditions I would call Kurt and tell him there was a window in the weather to play golf. He would tell me that there was no way he could get away. Within five minutes he would call me back and ask "what time we were teeing off". He loved his golf and we loved his companionship. Brian, Kurt, and myself used to play the nine point game so late into the evening that after hitting a shot we would turn to each other and say "did anybody hear where that hit". The only thing Kurt ever let get in the way of golf was his family, especially after his grandson came. I was very fond of Kurt and Kevin and will miss Kurt greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

We first met Kurt years ago when his daughter and our grand daughter we playing a high school basketball game. We heard someone in the bleachers yelling at the referee. I asked my son in law who that was and he said "oh, that's just Kurt". Our friendship stated then and ended way too soon. His enthusiasm and attitude was contagious to all. He lived life to the fullest even with medical problems. He enjoyed showing us pictures of his grand sons. All of our thought so out to Lisa and his loving family. We will all miss him greatly.
