Lance Yeaman Griffin, 47, passed away October 30, 2014 at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center of a sudden and unexpected death. Lance was born in Portland and graduated from Jefferson High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Mary Griffin. He is survived by his son, Jordan; brother, Dayrol Griffin; aunt, Lois Sitton; and many cousins.
Lance was an avid sports fan and played baseball and basketball during his years in school. He created a successful career in grocery produce eventually working as a produce manager at Peninsula Fred Meyer’s in St. Johns.
His passions in life were raising and spending time with his son, Jordan. A celebration of life will be held for Lance at 1: 00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Village Ballroom, 700 NE Dekum St. 2nd Floor.
