Laura Jane Lien, 88, of Portland, passed away May 30, 2012. She was born March 7, 1924 in Portland, Oregon to the late William S and Laura J. Ross. Laura was a member of her High School Marching Band, playing the clarinet. She married Robert Lien in 1943, who preceded her in death in 1994. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, and gardening. She took frequent trips to Disneyland with her family. Among her favorite things in life, she enjoyed visiting with friends and family the most of all.
Laura is survived by her sons Larry and Denny Lien; daughters Linda McCollum and Angie Lien-Marker; seven grandchildren: Nicole, Emily, Wendy, Jason, Ryan, David, and Michael; and ten great grandchildren; Ashtin, Jadon, Rylee, Faith, Kaylee, Gavin, Lilee, Johnte', Sprinavosa, and Richie.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 10:00am at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home in Portland. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 10:00am until 4:30pm at the funeral home.
