Happy birthday mom..I miss you so much. I can't stop crying and I'm sorry for that but you were my life. Paige misses you dearly but I'm sure you know that. In your journey please be strong and remember to give hugs and say I LOVE YOU TO ALL OF OUR FAMILY...I will be with all of you very shortly...Wendy..my mom's true light...

Laurie will always have a special place in my heart as she welcomed me into the family with open arms.  She was generous and kind with a great sense of humor.  I have such good memories of her.   I am so sorry to hear of her passing and regret losing contact with you both over the last years.   Please stay in touch.

Mom, I'm still in shock and can't at times comprehend you not being with us. Losing you has been one of the hardest times of my life.  But knowing you are no longer in pain, and in a better place, eases the pain - but just a little.  

We said goodbye to you today, and the room was full of friends and family and loved ones of you, me, Brian and Wendy.  They were there to say goodbye to you and show their support and love for your family.  You have left a huge mark in this world, and I am a better person because of you.  My values and family traditions are because of you and what you taught me, and I will pass them on to Tanner, I promise.

I promise to make sure Brian is okay, and he will always be a part of our family, because he was a part of you and we love him.  I will make sure Wendy gets through her struggles, and will remind her of your strength and tenacity because she has both of these in her and so much more.

Mom I promise to keep making you proud, to raise Tanner the best I can and to make sure your memory lives on.

Brian, I am so sorry for your loss. I always loved Laurie.  She was so much fun and had a wonderful sense of humor.  I wish I could join you in paying respect to Laurie, but health issues make it impossible.

Brian, Shirley and Wendy:  John and I are out of town and unable to attend the service, but please know you all are surrounded with our love and support and will remain in our thoughts and prayers always.

Laurie was a very quiet person full of concern for other people. She donated her eyes to the Lions eye sight so that someone could have a gift of sight and who needed them.
We meet when we were 13 years of age and our first date was on April 11th 1958. Which was both of our mothers birthday so when we looked for a date to be married on we choose April 11th. I figured I would never forget our anniversary.
She loved to decorate, her Scottish heritage, the Queen of England, clothes and more clothes. She was very proud person. Extremely honest person and loyal to many causes for humanity. She also loved animals our dog Murphy was her most favorite.
She was the best!
