He was 88 years old, and had been living at West Hills Village assisted living center for two years. Words cannot express how much he will be missed: his generosity, his zest for life, and his loving heart were beyond compare.
He touched so many hearts and built numerous strong friendships throughout the world.
He was preceded in death by Kay Mayhew, his loving wife of 59 years and his childhood sweetheart, on December 30, 2014. He is survived by his children Kim (Rusty) Lewis, Jeff (Sandy) Mayhew, and Taryn Mayhew.
Due to the present constraints imposed by COVID, we have opted to forego a formal funeral or memorial ceremony - we will be posting a memorial tribute on the internet shortly.
