It’s been 7 long years since you’ve been gone but 7 is a very special number in so many ways…I miss you so much!!! 
Layla and Benjamin got married last year☺️oh it was an amazing day I wish you would’ve seen Layla as a bride ~she was breathtaking! She thought and spoke about you even on her wedding day Ligia!! That’s how much she loved you. Coco said the other day “when i close my eyes I can still picture Ligia’s smile” Riana still remembers baking at your house.. they all miss you! 
Looking back on those 7 years I am so happy to know you are at rest… I miss you but I know the Lord knew exactly what He was doing when He took you home~you’ve fought a good fight and you won! 
Someone once quoted something… it’s a nice quote but in your case I wish (in my selfishness) I must say that I do wish the Lord would’ve given you another day because I know I needed you… I needed you to finish saying what you started to say…I wish I knew what to say those last moments… I needed you to know that you’ve fought the good fight.. but you knew…. You saw Jesus and you were home. 
You are so missed and loved…. 7 years yet it feels like yesterday… 7 years a number that brought peace to my soul.. 7 years is such a special number that words won’t satisfy. 
You are forever loved forever missed never forgotten! Your life 7 years later… continues to impact people in ways you’ve never thought possible Ligia!! 7 years but more than a memory. A hero who people will talk about for years to come and will not forget because you are unforgettable my dear…. 
I love you with all of my heart will forever miss you till we see each other soon.

Ligia it’s been six years since God called you home. As our kids get older there’s so many things I wanted to share with you about them. I miss you so much!! I really wish you were here! My heart still aches and hurts when I know we’re  never going to get together again. But I do feel some comfort knowing you’re not in pain anymore. I know you’re happy in heaven with our Lord.

Today we would’ve celebrated your 40th birthday! But instead of celebrating here on this earth you’re celebrating with our Lord and savior Jesus! I can’t believe Saturday was five years since you went home to be with Jesus! I miss you so so so much! The pain of not having you here is so deep! I miss our daily talks so much! Talking about our kids and the milestones they’ve hit! You are never forgotten and are always missed! it’s been five years since you’ve been gone but yet it seems like just yesterday we were sitting on my couch laughing our heads off shaking like leaves from so much laughter… I miss you so much. I miss your laugh and your hugs~ you always had the best hugs… but I know that you are now so so happy in the presence of our King Jesus… I so wish I could tell you this ~your wish my dear has come true!!! Heaven gained a soul because of the little tiny seed of your testimony…and I know there will be many more… your suffering, your pain was not in pain my dear… oh how I wish we could sit and talk like we used to I know your heart would be so full to hear all about it… but all is right because you are home and the Lord is so so faithful and He is good all the time and all the time He is good! Keep working on my mansion next to yours till we meet again 🥰

💛My dear Ligia 💛 I have no words to say how much I miss you… so much has changed with you gone… but I find comfort in knowing  you are in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.  You are home. You are safe. You are free at last of every possible kind of pain.  Our memories will forever be engraved in my heart. I love to talk about you… I love to remind people how special, amazing, caring, loving you were…. You are truly irreplaceable. When I think of you I hug my children a bit harder and hold them a little longer and kiss them a bit more… just like you. 
I miss talking to you about new recipes we tried… I miss your laugh and our extended conversations by the front door like two “nane”… and I miss our coffee dates… I just miss you!

You’ve been gone for 3 years now and I still find myself grabbing my phone wanting to call or text you.... Layla, Corina, Riana and I were talking about you the other day. They miss you as well! They miss your laugh, they miss riding with you in your car, they miss baking / making a mess in your kitchen while you sat back and laughed at it all telling them how pretty and delicious their cupcakes were... but most of all we all agreed. We all miss your heartfelt, love filled, warm hugs...

Dear Mama 💛

These past couple years have been such an emotional & heartbreaking time. To see you go through that pain always has & always will break my heart. 

Mom, before I say anything else, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for holding my hand when I was taking my first steps. Thank you for catching me when I fell, and for listening to all I had to say. Thank you for the memories, for the laughs, for the smiles, for all the “I love you”s and for all the hugs in between. Thank you for showing me what it meant to be a woman of God. Thank you for influencing me in the most amazing way possible. You forever will be my role model. 

You were such a big influence on so many people, Mama. You were so strong. You went through the pain and though you were so tired you willingly listened to all that I had to say & all my worries. You fought the fight, Mom. You fought the fight and went through the pain thinking of us every moment. You loved us, cared for us, fed us, and most importantly, showed us what it means to live for Jesus. You always said, “My God is in control no matter the circumstance.”  You were kind to everyone, and you always shined brightly as God intended His children to. You were the epitomy of love. Whether it was helping me with homework, making our lunches, bringing a coffee to the teachers, or just giving everyone a smile, you stood out above everyone else with a radiance of no other. 

I’m running out of words for telling you just how amazing you were. You loved me, dad, Mark, Ezra, Debora, Levi, Noah and Sarai with a love that none of us will ever forget.

You lived a life worth living, though it was short, it was a life with so many good memories that tear me up, so many laughs that I’ll never forget, and so many nightly prayers we prayed that will forver be in my mind. 

I’m thankful for every moment I got to spend with you. There’s so much more I could say. But I’m going to end with,

Dear Ligia: We didn’t know each other very well, and after hearing all the beautiful words those who did know you have to say, I wish we did. I think about you often and my heart cries out for your husband and children. 
Ever since becoming a mother myself, I feel like death has a deeper meaning – we all will see it one day, but it is never easy for those that are left behind. However we take comfort and refuge in knowing that death is actually the greatest thing that can happen, it allows us to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. 
Every day I think about how I want to be a better sister, a better daughter, a better wife and especially a better mother, all because of you. You have changed my life and have left a lasting mark on my heart; I am deeply humbled.

Our hearts are hurting and our minds do not understand this loss.  But we know God is Love and He is in control.

My  Dear Friend Ligia,

I'm thankful for the past 4 years our families got to know each other.....we had many plans but our time was cut short.
My heart is broken, torn apart and so many questions unanswered......but we have to trust God, even when it's beyond our own understanding!
The last time we spoke, you my dearest Ligia said : "if one soul is saved because of my suffering, than it was all worth it".
These words marked my heart forever.....You were an example of a Godly women full of FAITH!!!
I promise you, George, Rahela, Mark, Ezra, Debora, Levi, Noah and Sarai will always be in our prayers....
"For I know the plans I have for you,"
declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
I know you are in our Lord's presence, and I can't even imagine the JOY you're  in right now.  But the time will come to see each other again on that 
Glorious Day we are all waiting for.....

It's hard to put down words..., but I know you're happy and free of pain. We are going to miss you but I know you're waiting for us there . God knows why?, we can only trust Him .

The moment that you left us, my heart was split in two, one side was filled with memories the other side died with you. I often lay awake at night with tears going down my cheeks thinking of our daily phone conversation, and all our happy moments and all our struggles we had growing up together. Remembering you my dear Ligia is easy, I do it everyday, but missing you is a heartache that will never go away. I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will always be.
