Lillian was born on December 13, 1930, in Portland, Orgon to Frederick and Effie Marie Lee. Her father, Frederick served in the United States Army and passed away before her 3rd birthday. Lillian was raised by her mother and a host of loving relatives, her de facto brothers and sisters.
Lillian married Clarence Rose December 3, 1953, and they raised their four children, Tracy, Georgene, Dawna and Dani.
Lillian was a homemaker, PTA president, pastor’s wife and extraordinary mother, who always taught her children about the love of Jesus by her instruction and her example. Lillian was a master seamstress and a gifted pianist, who used her talents to serve others and honor God.
Lillian was affectionately known as Mama, Aunt Bootsie, Grandma Rose, and Great Grandma Lilly.
Lillian is preceded in death by her son Tracy and husband of 49 years, Clarence. She is survived by daughters Georgene (Dan Rice) and Dawna (Duane Stutzman), son Dani, grandchildren Jordan (Shaunna), Stephanie (Yves), Cameron, Baylee, and great grandchildren Anaya and Thijs. She was treasured in life and will be missed, but our hope is in Christ and we who believe in Him will see her again. A memorial service will be held at New Song Church, Thursday, October 8, at 11:00 AM. A light lunch will be served.
