Lillie Mae (Cameron) Raibon-Williams, age 95, passed peacefully from this life, the afternoon of March 18, 2018, in Portland, Oregon, where she was surrounded by love of family. Born on October 29, 1922, in Yantley, Alabama, to John Lee and Mary T Cameron, Lillie Mae grew up as the eldest sister to thirteen siblings. Then forming a union with Ned Busby, in which three children were born, Elgenia, Robert Anderson, and Fred Douglas Busby. Thereafter, Lillie Mae would come to form a union with Roosevelt Killings, and from this union, Rosetta, Diane, and Abraham Killings were born.
Sometime after, her journey would take her and her family to Salt Lake City, Utah, before finally settling down in Portland, Oregon. Here, Lillie Mae would spend her days raising her children, finding love and marriage with Edward L. Raibon, working and retiring as a certified nurse at Oregon Health & Science University, and being a faithful servant and member of Vancouver Avenue First Baptist Church. In serving the Lord, Lillie Mae participated on a many of church boards, choir service, teaching Sunday school, leading bible study groups, and remaining a constant worshiper. She was also a social member of Easter Stars of Portland, Oregon. She was even recognized, celebrated, and honored as a community stalwart in the faith and for remarkable service.
Long after the above chapter in Lillie Mae's life, her journey continued in Spokane, Washington, where she married Dr. Reverend Louis D. Williams; but upon his passing, Lillie Mae returned to her family in Portland, Oregon, where she has remained ever since.
Lillie Mae (Cameron) Raibon-Williams was predeceased by her father John Lee Cameron, her mother Mary T Cameron, her brother John Lewis Cameron, sister Earlene Cameron Hopkins-Stewart, brother Willie Frank Cameron, and brother Wesley Lee Cameron; her children, Robert Anderson Busby, Elgenia B.Rogers, and Fred Douglas Busby. Also widowed by Edward L. Raibon and Dr. Reverend Louis D. Williams.
Lillie Mae (Cameron) Raibon-Williams leaves to cherish her siblings, Claree Hearn (Mississippi), Thomas K. Cameron (Utah), Thomas B. Cameron (Florida), Ernest Cameron ((Mississippi), Richard Cameron (North Carolina), Doris Cameron (South Carolina), Josephine Spears (Alabama), Patricia C. James (Alabama), and Charles Cameron (California); as well as her children, Rosetta Sebastian, Diane Ward, Abraham Killings, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
