Lloyd was born on February 13, 1923 in Portland, Oregon and was the son of Lars and Kristina (Nilson) Asplund. He graduated high school and served in the United States Army from 1943-1946 achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. He married Mary A Venditti who later preceded him in death in 2000.
A funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 11:00 am at Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes with a committal service at Willamette National Cemetery. Contributions may be made in memory of Lloyd to Mt. Hood Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
