Brock, Lois Herdman 88 May 29, 1925 Jan. 22, 2014 Our beloved wife, mother, grandma and great-grand- ma has been called to heaven to be with the Lord following a short illness. Born in Wagner, S.D., she moved to Medford in 1947 and married Ralph M. Brock in 1949. They moved their family to Beaverton in 1963. Lois spent her life serving her family and her church. After retirement, she, with her husband, made several cross country trips, sightseeing in every state in the United States. She loved bowling and participated in various leagues. She was a true historian with detailed photos, keepsakes and notes about the many people and events of her entire life. Lois is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ralph Brock; children, Jim (Carol) Brock, Kathy Brock (Steve McMaster), Cindy (Steve) Vuylsteke and Dan (Cindy) Brock; 12 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Beaverton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her church.
