Lois was a kind and loving wife and mother. She was also an avid animal lover and volunteered for the Bonnie Hays Animal Shelter and a supporter of the Oregon Humane Society. Lois' hobbies included crocheting, where she donated hundreds of blankets to care facilities around Washington county. She also loved reading, puzzles, games (she always won!) and traveling in her younger years with her husband Robert.
Lois is survived by her son Shawn Burns; her daughter Melissa (Burns) and Daniel Wagner; and her daughter Heather (Burns) and Miguel Guzman-Orozco; her grandchildren Kali, Jordan, Gabriela, Rachel, Roberto, and Adrian and her great-grandchildren Shiloh, Milo, and Jack.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband Robert Burns and her son Michael Burns.
