Lois Grace born April 3rd 1937, in Porterville, Mississippi, second oldest of 4 children, Gloria, Lois, frank, Debbie, all born from proud parents of Willie & Agnes Grace. After traveling around several states with past husband Charles Bernard, Lois gave birth to 4 wonderful children 3 girls 1 boy. Silva, Julian, Cynthia, Tracey. Lois has 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Mom was a very independent lady who worked very hard for her family to get what she needed even if it required her to work 2 jobs. After retiring 25 years at NW natural gas mom still enjoyed work to the fullest at PPS, Care provider, foster parenting and being 1st African American UPS driver, she just loved to work. In moms final years Tracey made sure mom was depth free and made her relax and just enjoy life to the fullest. Trips to the gorge, Mt. Hood, race tracks, museums etc...Mom enjoyed it all. Even dementia couldn't stop us from enjoying life to the fullest. With love and patience we made her final days enjoyable pleasant and fun. No struggles with any pain what’s so ever! God opened the gates of heaven only to call her peacefully home, with his angels and millions of wonderful memories for all us to remember her by. We love you and will miss you, mother, sister, grandma.
