Lola Mathews was born on April 12, 1921 in Texas. She met and married Leon Sr. (preceded her in death). She was a proud mother of ten children. In Texas her first three children: Edgar, Jossie, Lola was born. The family then moved to Oregon where seven more children were added to the family: Alpha, Zeb, Omega and Jonathan. *Leon Jr., *Denarvel and *Chilos (*preceded her in death).
Lola leaves to cherish her memory, her children Edgar Mathews, Jossie Mathews Johnson, Lola Mathews Tate, Alpha Mathews, Zeb Mathews, Omega Mathews and Jonathan Mathews. Her younger brother Booker T; her seventeen grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; relatives and friends.
Lola was very quiet but had strong inner strength especially when it came to mothering her children. She will surely be missed.
