Louise was the only child of Otto and Anna and carried forward the steady values of family and home with a devoted heart and a generous spirit. In every season of life, she was beloved—held close not only for what she did, but for the faithful way she showed up for those she loved.
High school sweethearts, Louise and Bud, married and raised two children, Christine and Allen. They built a life marked by commitment, hard work, and enduring care. Her family continued to grow to include her son-in-law Sid, grandchildren Kyle, Katie, and Sydnee, and seven great-grandchildren. She deeply loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them, finding her greatest joy in simply being together.
An adventurous streak ran gently through Louise’s days, especially in the pleasures she chose and the traditions she treasured. She loved going to concerts, music, and dancing, and her appreciation for celebration shone brightly at Christmastime—her favorite holiday, made even more meaningful by the fact that her dad’s birthday was on Christmas Day.
Louise found daily beauty in the outdoors, tending her garden and taking pride in her flowers and home. She enjoyed bird watching in her backyard, with a special fondness for hummingbirds. At home, she also delighted in watching crime shows and scary movies—even at night—meeting suspense with calm enjoyment and a quietly spirited sense of fun.
Time with family remained at the center of her life. Many shared days were spent at her beach property, which the family still uses, an enduring place of gathering that reflects her generous welcome and the care she took in making room for others.
Louise will be remembered with respect and affection, for a life shaped by devotion, hard work, and open-handed generosity.
