Lovejoy Schell, born on April 20, 1977, in Portland, Oregon, to Pearl and Orville Poulin, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, in Winlock, Washington. Raised in Aloha, Oregon, Lovejoy graduated from Sunset High School in Beaverton in 1995, where she played the bass fiddle in the school band.
Faith was the foundation of Lovejoy’s life. A dedicated member of the Assembly of God church, she faithfully attended Napavine Assembly of God in Washington. Their connection blossomed into a deep love, culminating in 38 cherished years of marriage.
Following high school, Lovejoy pursued a career as a paralegal in Portland, serving with dedication until her retirement in 2004. After retiring, she found her true calling in caregiving for those in need within her community of Winlock. Her life was a reflection of compassion and service.
Gifted with many talents, Lovejoy played the piano beautifully and found joy in gardening and cooking. She was also admired for her remarkable computer skills. However, it was her unwavering love for the Lord and her deep devotion to family and friends that defined her life most profoundly.
