Lucille was born on July 15, 1920 in Great Falls, MT to Frank and Kate Kolar. She was the fourth of five children and the last surviving sibling. She grew up on a ranch outside of Dover, MT, and graduated from Stanford High School in 1938. Lucille attended beauty school in Great Falls where she met and married William Hunt in 1940. They were married 56 years until his death in 1996. While raising their four children, she sold Avon and volunteered at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Great Falls.
Lucille joined TOPS in 1983 and within two years became a KOPS member. She proudly held that title for over 20 years. She was a member of several service groups, including Extension, Pinochle Club, St. Patricks’ Guild, Portland Federation of Women’s Organization and served as President of the Rotana Club. She enjoyed gardening, cake decorating, crocheting, playing pinochle and cribbage, reading, camping, going for rides in the county, stopping for coffee and spending time with her family.
A sweet and caring person to her family and friends, her caregivers at Pacific Care knew her to be spunky even though she was living at times with loss of memory and a lot of pain.
She is survived by her daughters Cynthia Killingsworth; Kathleen Korst; and Dianne Hunt; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Susan Hunt; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great-child.
