

Lue was the youngest of 10 children. Moved to Portland in 1928. Attended Corbett and Benson high schools. He then Served in world war two. Upon returning he married Carol J. Dinsmore in 1949. He worked as a machinist by trade in the ship yards, there was little he couldn’t build or fix. Retired in 1990. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, oystering and clamming with his family. He and wife Carol were active in the Tri-squares and 59ers club where they enjoyed square dancing for over 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Sandra and his great Grandson Carter. He leaves behind his wife of 68 years Carol. Son Tom and wife Chris Dinsmore, Daughter Mary and husband Les Madden, and Son Dave Dinsmore. 4 Grandchildren, Anthony and wife Erika Dinsmore, Carrie Dinsmore, Molly and Reese Madden.
A celebration of Lue's life will take place at Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 2pm.
Lue will be laid to rest with military honors in Skyline Memorial Gardens.
