Roger and Lynnette welcomed their first child, Tracy L. White in October 1970. Lynette worked at Gilmore Steel before deciding to permanently stay home and be a full time Homemaker. She lived a very active life that revolved around her husband’s career and her children’s’ daily schedule. When Lyn was not camping with family and friends, she loved to shop, knit, attend holiday bazaars and play bunco with The Edwards Meadows Bunco Group.
Lyn loved to travel all times of the year. Going on Cruises and trips to Disneyland every summer as a family was what she loved to do. Especially going to Cabo San Lucas every January with her husband. She also loved trips to the beach, especially to Hay Stack Rock in Cannon Beach and just parking to watch the waves with Roger.
Lyn found great joy in being a homemaker and grandmother to five amazing granddaughters!. She enjoyed baking and decorating her home.
Lyn was definitely an Oregon girl, born and raised and vowed never to leave it even after the sudden death of Roger in August 2015. In 2016 Lyn sold their home in Hillsboro after 40 years and moved into The Springs of Tanasbourne Retirement Living.
