Lynne Darlene Chauncey

December 3, 1940 – June 20, 2025

Lynne Chauncey, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, in Portland, Oregon, at the age of 84.

Born on December 3, 1940, in Monterey Park, California, to the late Lynn and Lydia Seymour, Lynne was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy was caring for her family. A woman of deep faith, she was a dedicated member of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.

Lynne is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Bowlus Chauncey; their daughter Kellie Lance, and sons Scott Chauncey, Brett Chauncey, and Matt Chauncey; her sister Marsha McWade and brother Charles Seymour. She was a cherished grandmother to Vance Chauncey, Scott "Bo" Chauncey Jr., Brett II Chauncey, Lauren Chauncey, John Lance, Grant Lance, Kennedy Chauncey, Kaden Chauncey, Samuel Chauncey, and Sydney Chauncey and a proud great-grandmother to Cooper Chauncey and Savannah Chauncey.

Lynne’s warm heart, unwavering devotion, and steadfast faith leave a lasting legacy in the lives of those she touched. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with her parents and now rests in peace.

Services will be held in her honor on July 2nd at 11 AM at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland.
