Margaret P Sanford

July 22, 1918 - August 24, 2010

Margaret P. Sanford was born in Johnson County, Indiana on July 22, 1918 to parents Clyde and Pearl Polley. She moved to Portland in 1960.

Margaret worked as a cafeteria manager for Portland Public Schools for over 20 years and retired in 1985.

Survivors include her son Clifford Polley; granddaughters Paula Swanson, Kristi Higgins and Toni Rozario; grandson Steven Brewer; great grandchildren Richard Wilson, Paul Wilson, Mike Swanson, Jesse Swanson, Isabelle Higgins, Stephanie Brewer, Cassi Brewer and Melissa Brewer; great great grandchildren Donovan and Aidan Wilson, Brieana Wilson, Michlin, Kaden, and Cole Swanson, Caroline and Cody Swanson; and her sister Georgetta Hall. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Paul W. Sanford; parents Clyde and Pearl (Green) Polley; five brothers Leon, Carl, Paul, Dale, and Gail Polley daughter Joy Brewer; son Thomas Burrows.

A Public Celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, September 7, at 1:00 PM in Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.
