Marie was a special person and very respected and loved at Holy Redeemer. Once a year for a few days in the Spring, I choose a parishioner that I think may need help in their yards. After Marie was diagnosed, I worked alongside her in her beautiful yard for a few days. I treasure those days, it gave us some special time together. I hosted the St. Vincent de Paul picnic for a few years and Marie would bring her fabulous fruit carvings, what a talent! I always looked forward to see what she had in store for us. Holy Redeemer was blessed to have Marie.

So sorry for your loss. Marie was a great person and friend. I will truly miss her.

Loved Marie so much . . She gave me friendship, joy, encouragement and love.  Her vast  knowledge and commitment to legislative issues concerning the Labor Movement was tremendous.  I always looked up to her. Now I will look up to her in heaven . . .

Dear Ruth and the Clark family, please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Mrs. Clark.  Even though I was "just" Bonnie's little sister, she always made me feel welcome in your home, which was a blessing to a little girl still settling in and making friends after moving to Portland.  We were lucky to know her.

Marie was a loving, caring and very giving person. Always willing to help anywhere she was needed...most generous with her time.

Though  seldom seen through the years,   I was able to visit her several times in the last  decade  and treasure her energy, her  deep faith  and her happy spirit.

Clark Family, I am sorry for your loss.  Your Mom was always nice to me and she was just a great person.  She treated me like family and I always felt welcome at your home when we where kids.

When I met Marie at the Holy Redeemer Senior Group, I knew immediately that I would like to get to know her better and become a friend.  Then I started caring for my first grandchild and lost contact with the group and with Marie.  As time passed our paths crossed again when she reached out to me after my husband's death.  I came to know her compassion, her love of life and her courage in facing the challenges of her illness.  I treasure her memory and example of giving to others, her sharing of her stories, the exuberance with which she approached each day.  May the gifts that she has given to you her family, help you through this time of sorrow and loss.

Marie was tremendously important to me and all of the Holy Redeemer community.  She also knew what she was talking about regarding the labor movement and generally people in political positions.  She also saved my bacon by volunteering putting together the first-in-a-long-time HR auctions.  She was one in a million.

How very sad to hear of Marie's passing. My sympathy to her children whom she loved dearly. She has been an integral part of St. Vincent de Paul at Holy Redeemer--and we will miss her. She loved to bring her special watermelon shaped and filled with all kinds of fruit at the St. Vincent de Paul picnic. Dear Clark family - Marie was a friend of so many of us at Holy Redeemer and a close friend of Our Lord. She was a true Christian and lived the life God planned for her. She was a special friend to me when my dear wife, Gloria, died four years ago. May she rest in the arms of Our Lord.
