
Marilyn Ruth Glover passed away on June 27, 2026, in King City, Oregon. Marilyn was born on June 30th, 1934, to Carl and Arlene Braden in Weiser, Idaho. She graduated from Weiser High School in 1952. Later that year she married Bud Fitzmorris and they had a son, Michael and a daughter, Carlene.
In 1993, Marilyn married Jerry Glover in Reno, Nevada.
Throughout their marriage they lived in Oregon, Washington, and Arizona. They enjoyed traveling and fishing together. Marilyn worked at Sears in the 1960s and later worked at Tektronics in Beaverton, OR, for 20 years before she retired.
Marilyn enjoyed watching hummingbirds, crocheting and knitting. Many of her friends and family cherish the beautiful afghans she made them. Marilyn was a quick-witted woman, and she loved her family dearly. She was a wonderful mother and an excellent grandma. She will be missed by so many.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Glover; her son, Michael; and her daughter, Carlene; 4 grandchildren, Shannon Maier (Travis), Chrissi Stoute (Paul), Robert and Gabrielle Fitzmorris; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Marilyn is predeceased by her parents, Carl and Arlene Braden; her sister, Carol; her brothers, Fred and Frank Braden; and twin great-granddaughters, Avery and Cameryn Stoute.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR 97229, on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
