Marge was born at home in Lake Lillian, MN, the fourth of five siblings. She followed her family to Mill Valley, CA in 1941 where she completed high school and worked in the naval defense yards as a timekeeper. When the war ended she was a teller and bookkeeper at a US Bank, after a move with her family to Portland, OR.
Marge met and married the love of her life, Kenneth Richard Lindahl in 1950 who passed in 2015.
Marge is survived by their three sons; Arnie (Nancy), Rick and Greg (Stacia). Seven grandchildren; Megan Lindahl, Katy Ross, Sarah Lindahl, Kristy Lindahl, Ian Lindahl, Nicole Weeks and Tess Lindahl. And six great-grandchildren; Kira Weeks, Parker Ross, Reagan Ross, Eric Lindahl, Ellie Weeks and Maya Lindahl.
Marge's greatest joy was time with her family including; Jo Dacklin, Gerriann Sause and Christi Unger, whom she considered to be her daughters.
Marge was an active member of her church, liked travelling in their RV, cats, gardening, making seasonal Swedish meals, playing board games, writing letters, eating milkshakes, canning, yellow clothing, shopping and eating out.
Marge's family has planned a private service and burial to be followed later this year with a Celebration of Life for friends and family.
