Marjorie Sylvia Davis passed away peacefully at home on February 7th, 2014. She was 89 years old. Marjorie grew up in Seattle and graduated from West Seattle High School. She was married in 1944 to Bruce W. Davis while he was in the Navy. This April would’ve marked their 70th wedding anniversary. Marjorie was a homemaker and raised one daughter, Lynda Catherine Davis. She spent half of her life in Seattle and half in Portland, Oregon. Marjorie is survived by her husband Bruce; brother, Jack Cormode; sister in law, Pat Light; two granddaughters Tara Newman and Samantha Walker and their spouses; along with seven great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death is her daughter, Lynda. Marjorie was dearly loved most especially by her devoted husband who looks forward to the day they will be reunited in paradise.
