Marjorie Sylvia was born in Dalton, Nebraska on April 24th, 1921. Her family moved to Oregon in her childhood where she lived the remainder of her life. She was a home maker and single mother who excelled at teaching spelling, vocabulary and life skills. Marjorie had a great love of nature and also enjoyed teaching her children the proper names of various plant life and birds. She enjoyed reading all kinds of novels and spent countless hours scrapbooking and drawing pictures. Marjorie peacefully passed in her sleep at the Golden Acres assisted living facility where she has lived the past 16 yrs. Marjorie is survived by her daughter Madeline Sylvia and her son Vince Sylvia. Her grandchildren are Donna Murray, Donald Anderson, Debbie Cox, Scott Pearman, Nick Sylvia, Justin Sylvia and Rebecca Sylvia. Marjorie now joins her first son, Craig Sylvia, who passed 25 years ago, in heaven.
