Marvin Lee passed away at age 92. He was born in Taishan China and lived in Portland since 1937.
He was a baker, cook, and restaurant owner. He was Executive Chef of Trader Vic’s at The Benson Hotel for six years. He was a US Army veteran and served in the Pacific during WWII. He was a member of the Portland Lee’s Assn. and Sui Sing Assn. His wife Lou passed in 2016. His four children are Melvin, Frances, Terry, and Philip. There are ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral is Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018. Chapel service is 11am at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland, OR. Military honors at 12:30pm at Willamette National Cemetery.
