Mary A. Magers

Mary A. Magers, was born on January 5, 1909 in Salem, Oregon to Albert and Fannie Magers. She attended grade school in Salem, Oregon, graduated from Washington High School in Portland, Oregon attended The Oregon Normal School, now known as Western Oregon University to receive her BA Degree in Education and then at 55 years old went to The University of Washington and received her Masters Degree.

Mary taught at many schools throughout the Portland and Eugene areas specializing in the Hard of Hearing and Deaf Students. Mary was a member of the !st Christian Church in downtown Portland where she volunteered and sang in the choir. Mary was a Published Writer, Poet, Past President of The Residence Association at Holiday Park Plaza and participated in all the activates of Holiday Park Plaza. She loved to travel around the world, visiting different places in Europe, China, Asia, Japan Russia and all of Canada and The US.

Mary leaves of host of Nieces and Great-Nieces and Nephew that will miss her.
