Mrs. Wimer enjoyed the last 30 years in Huntsville, joining Newcomers and playing bridge in several clubs. She also volunteered at Huntsville Museum of Art and the Burrett Museum. Many who met her became close friends who were inspirational and irreplaceable.
May your spirit live forever, Mother, and thank you for your guidance and wisdom through the years. You were a genuine and humble person who inspired us and motivated all of us to excel. You were a role model and mentor and always the voice of reason.
Mrs. Wimer will be laid to rest next to her husband in a private burial at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
