Matt was born in Portland, OR, in 1968.
Matt was working in South America, passionately pursuing his lifelong career in the hotel industry: building and renovating properties around the country and the world.
His passion for the industry led him to work in 15 states over 40 years.
Matt was a prolific golfer, having played nearly 40 times at Bandon Dunes Resort with family and close friends.
Matt is survived by his daughter Kristine, father Bill(Evelyn), and brothers Todd(Janet) and Mike(Pilar) and their children Max and Teagan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy in 2004.
The family is having an informal celebration of life in the back room at Old Market Pub in Garden Home on Saturday, December 26th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Food and beverages will be provided.
