Maurizio Bianchini

Maurizio was born December 14th, 1929 in Roseto, Italy. He married Giacinta Ciafardoni in Italy in 1956. They emigrated to Portland, Oregon in October of 1960 and have lived in Portland since then.

Maurizio owned "Mario's Italian Motors", a successful Vespa and motorcycle sales and repair business until 2000, when he retired. In retirement, Maurizio worked at Piazza Italia Italian restaurant in the Pearl District since it's opening in 2000.

Maurizio and his wife loved traveling abroad and did so extensively.

Maurizio is survived by his wife, four children: Vince Bianchini, Walt Bianchini, Mark Bianchini, and Cindy Bianchini, daughters in law, Mary, Jennifer and Nikki and son in law, Eric Evans, all of Portland Or. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and his sister, Dorinda Bonaduce of Portland, Or.

A viewing and rosary will be held at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery on Sunday, September 7th at 4:00 pm. The service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, September 8th at St. with a burial at Lincoln Memorial to follow.
