

She attended All Saints School and graduated from Washington High School. She spent a brief time living in Spokane, Washington before moving back to Portland.
Melissa was family-oriented, loving, and kind. She worked for many years at the family restaurant, Ponchos, and later in loss prevention at Fred Meyers, where she was loved by customers.
In her free time, Melissa had a green thumb for her collection of indoor plants, enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, loved going to the beach on weekends, and cherished visiting the family condo in Mazatlán, Mexico.
Melissa is survived by her siblings: Judy Thompson (Bob), Chris Beil, George Beil (Lisa), Mike Beil, Matt Beil, Mary Seaton (Bryan), Molly Malsbury (Jason), Jon Beil (Rachel); her children: Ben Monfils (Kwi), Sarah Primiano, Natalie Luckhart (Jared), Sam Monfils (Lisa), Jay Jackson; and her grandchildren: Ellery, Braden, Patrick, Max, Addie, Layla, Matthew, Henry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her significant other, Dave Wood.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joyce Beil, and her siblings Mylinda Beil and Bob Beil.
A special thank you to Dr. Kocher, Dr. Brosnan, the nurses at Providence Hospital, and the staff at Serenity Hospice who helped care for Melissa through her cancer diagnosis and time at home while in hospice.
Melissa will have a dedicated niche at Lincoln Memorial. Inurnment will be on July 18th for immediate family. Her children will also be hosting a celebration of life on July 20, 2024. Please reach out to the family for additional details.
