Melvin Earl Jossi was born July 26, 1945 in Denver, Colorado to Ethel Margaret (Stogsdill) Jossi and Otto Arnold Jossi. He passed away June 11, 2012 in Hillsboro, Oregon. Melvin was raised in Santa Cruz, California and graduated from high school there. He served in the U.S. Army and spent 15 years as a police officer in Suisun, California. For the last 10 years he has lived in the Portland area settling in Forest Grove, Oregon. He enjoyed motorcycling and fishing. Melvin was pre deceased by his parents, and is survived by his two daughters, Julie Flanagan and her husband Dave and Melissa Jossi; his brother Phil Jossi; two grandchildren, Brittnee French and Anthony Jossi and one great-grandson, Isaiah Caesar. Viewing will be held Monday June 18, 2012 between 9:00 and 10:45 A.M. with a Funeral service following at 11:00 A.M. in Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR.
