How sad and very sorry I was to hear of Michelle's passing.  Michelle was my Delta Gamma sister at Stanford.  We enjoyed a very playful, adversarial relationship.  During a rush party back in 1987, I gave a somewhat irreverent speech.  Afterward, Michelle approached me in her beautiful and conservative black dress and pearls and reminded me that we should be elegant, refined, and classic.  I laughed and said I'd try my best to do so moving forward.  For years to come, we'd laugh about this exchange.  I have always appreciated and admired Michelle's ability to marry refinement  with her marvelous, down-to-earth sense of humor.  The last time we saw each other was on a pathway alongside Memorial Church during a reunion weekend.  We enjoyed a playful, laugh-filled exchange–just like the good old days–as we unknowingly bid goodbye to each other.  I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to her family.  Michelle was deeply loved by her sisters in Delta Gamma.

So sorry to hear of Michelle's passing. We had so many conversations about kids, family, our pets, etc. while Melissa attended BH Children's Learning Center. Hugs and prayers for the family. So sorry...
