

Norma Boutros was 86 years old and lived in Happy Valley, Oregon. She passed away on August 8, 2020 around 11:30pm. She was born in Amor, Al-Husson, Syria on February 10, 1934 to Naif Faris, who passed away in 1987, and her mother Deebee, who passed away in March of 1988. She was married to Shahdeh Boutros on June 30, 1957. She came to America in February of 1973.
Norma worked as a seamstress until 1998. She would also work as a vegetable harvester.
Her youngest daughter, Ahlam Bitrous, preceded Norma in death. She is survived by her husband, Shahdeh; her sons, George, Elias, Osama, and Norman; her grandchildren, George, Kristian, Megan, Tiffany, Stephanie, Norman, Nicholas, Zayna, Andrew, Johnathan, Lucas, Samuel, Elizabeth, and Victoria; her great grandchildren, Alyssa and Jacob; her sisters, Rahme Wehby, Jameeli Salloum, Naify Hanna; her brothers, Elias Faris, Faris Faris, Aziz Faris, and George Faris. She was preceded in death by her oldest sister, Waddad Hadeed, and her younger brother, Norman Faris.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, and was an avid homemaker. She would always have a smile when visitors would stop by. She loved watching her grandchildren as they grew up. She found great purpose in providing assistance to those in need. And she was known for her story telling.
