Norma Espeland

She was confirmed in the Lutheran Church in Randall, Iowa and attended church regularly.

In 1943 she married Glen Espeland in the Randall Parsonage. In 1951 the couple and their young son, Daryl moved to Portland, Oregon. Soon they welcomed a daughter, Susan and another daughter Sheryl Ann whom the LORD took to be with HIM as a toddler. Her family was her whole world and she doted on her grand daughters and later on her great grand children.

She was a wonderfully caring woman who was always going out of her way to help those around her. She loved being surrounded by family and friends and hosted many family celebrations. She enjoyed working in sales, cooking and decorating. Glen and her were on a bowling league for many years.

She would sing and dance and lived until her last days with her home full of music.

She went to be with the LORD January 6, 2018 in Portland, Oregon.

She is survived by her son Daryl, his wife Loretta, daughter Susan, six granddaughters, and thirteen great grandchildren.
