Patricia E. Ball

Ms. Patricia Ball passed away August 20, 2012 at Harvest Homes, where she had been a resident for many years, suffering from Alzheimers. Ms. Ball was born in Chicago, the only child of Robert and Cecilia Ball. Patricia and her mother moved to Portland at an early age, where she started elementary school. After high school graduation she attended Reed College. After spending three years at Reed College she went to work for the IRS as an auditor, where she spent the next 40 years. She was also a master gardener and a lover of dogs and cats. Ms. Ball never married and had no children.

Ms. Ball was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at Mount Olivet Baptist Church and Caldwell’s, Hennessey, Goetsch & McGee Funeral Home will be in charge. She will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memorial Park.
