Po Young Lum was born on January 1, 1930 in Canton, China. She was married to Leong Toy Wong in 1947 and had her first son, Sam, in 1949. In 1960, she immigrated to Portland, Oregon and proceeded to become a U.S. Citizen. She had two more children, Sylvia and Alvin. Leong and Po were part-owners of the Garden Village Restaurant in Gresham, OR. Po was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren, Alexander and William. Po is survived by Leong, Sam, Sylvia, Alvin, Alexander and William. She will be remembered in our hearts for her dedication and love for her family. There will be a private family service.
