Portanata "Pat" Sinunela Bell

During the 1960’s and 1970’s Pat Salazar worked with mother Helenia Salazar and brother Al Salazar for years at Salazar’s restaurant in Zigzag, Oregon. Pat also worked with Helenia and Al at the famous Pine Street Theater Concert Hall. Additionally, Pat had worked at Duffy’s Irish Pub at its St. Johns location and its Grays River location upon its moving. After her work at Duffy’s, Pat had moved to work at Bi-mart.

In Pat’s later years, she had spent many late hours assisting the poor and needy in Portland. She also helped with running benefits for many organizations in the area. It was because of Pat, Helenia, and Al that the Pine Street Theater had touched the lives of so many people.

Pat Salazar was born in 1929 and passed in July, 2018. She is survived by son Robert Patterson, daughter Terry Patterson, and granddaughter Sunday. She is also survived by her brothers Don Salazar, Tom Salazar, and Al Salazar. She is survived by her sister Wally Salazar and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 4 from 5-8 pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home in Portland. A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 5 at 12 pm at Lincoln, followed by a graveside committal and reception.
