R. Dale Oge passed away at Portland Providence Hospital on April 30, 2009. Dale was born in Wright, Iowa on July 11, 1927 to Joseph Ernest and Mary Jane Oge. He worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife as a draftsman.
Dale is survived by his son; Robin; brothers; Jim and Wayne Oge; and brother-in-laws; John, Richard, Robin and Joe Ahlskog. Dale is preceded in death by his loving wife, Karen Oge, one sister and one brother.
A memorial service was held at Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11:00 am. Dale is laid to rest with his wife at Willamette National Cemetery following military honors for his service in the Air Force.
