Raymond Hansen Smith passed away on December 30, 2015 in Portland, OR, his daughter Sharon at his bedside holding his hand so he wasn't alone. He was born December 8, 1909 in Harlan, IA to Hans and Elsie (Behrens) Smith. He moved to Portland in 1942 and worked as an accountant and farmer in Dover, OR.
Ray is survived by two daughters, two granddaughters, one great-grandson, two great-granddaughters, two great-great-granddaughters, and by his partner Dorothy Hare.
He was kind, helped his family when needed, and a great dad and grandpa. he will be so missed.
