Dick passed away on May 13th 2011 surrounded by Jeanie his beloved wife of 60 years. He is survived by his daughter Paula Parks, her husband Jerry, and his grandchildren who he adored Kaitlin 21 and Ryan 17.
Dick was a retired Safeway Store Manager and during his 40 years of service he received numerous awards for his many achievements.
Dick was a devoted husband, dad, and grandpa. He was an avid sports fan especially when it came to the Oregon Ducks his granddaughter’s college. He followed his grandson on his high school baseball team and enjoyed every minute of it.
In his honor, a memorial service will be held at 11am on Wednesday May 18th 2011 at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home in Portland Oregon. Following this service there will be a Military Salute and internment at Willamette National Cemetery.
